I knew that coffee induced genius would produce something of worth one of these days.

This is really, really fascinating though. It also makes me think of meditation techniques involving the eyes.

So I wonder what’s going on here. Hmmm…maybe the dreams coming from Non-REM sleep get an individual’s eyes moving. Which in turn increases acetylcholine, which then feeds into the actual REM cycle beginning until the said individual reaches their EEG peak and then slips back down. Eh?

Great stuff though. Thanks L

-Rdream dwellersnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536455483197919928.post-42828542784604709922009-02-02T12:33:00.000-08:002009-02-02T12:33:00.000-08:00It would be interesting to have a study done where...It would be interesting to have a study done where they watch the reaction time of eye movement and the activation of the EEG showing REM. Its possible it would show that the eyes react before the brain, since the activation of REM starts in the pontine brain stem where it administers acetylcholine to different areas of the brain.

Thanks for your comment R.

Also the blasted word doc somehow didn't update my changes from Friday. I think I ended up passing out from loss of sleep that next day at about 3:00 AM and didn't save my work. I had about 2 hours of work last night to make up for this. Its all good now :)

-Ldream dwellersnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536455483197919928.post-18088800718031477862009-02-03T10:25:00.000-08:002009-02-03T10:25:00.000-08:00Dear L&R,The LDIS unit I built in 2005 could r...Dear L&R,

The LDIS unit I built in 2005 could record continuous eye motions on a 2D vector array. It recorded the magnitude and angle of the eyeball motion in the X,Y direction. The system could be used to record REM after the person took a large dose of a racetam which reduces ACh. So this idea could be tested under controlled conditions. Consider however that when your eyes are closed the eyeball does not twitch much, nothing compared to actively seeing objects. It does still respond to light coming in through the closed eyelids, which was proven by LaBerge.

Cheers,

Scot StrideAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536455483197919928.post-41173544539315762082009-02-03T17:50:00.000-08:002009-02-03T17:50:00.000-08:00Mr. Stride,Thanks for the info. I do agree with you that it wouldn't be very hard to test this hypothesis with the unit you built.

I'll make sure to contact you about this.

-Ldream dwellersnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536455483197919928.post-58217443852672449422009-08-01T20:47:31.000-07:002009-08-01T20:47:31.000-07:00PlIg2f usbzxyjbeoyb, ukvghukhcmvy, [link=http://dlbgoszklhga.com/]dlbgoszklhga[/link], http://gpsuiflgcqag.com/zofvxcthttp://szqdsgkwzmyb.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536455483197919928.post-75714236282535267782010-04-03T11:26:15.000-07:002010-04-03T11:26:15.000-07:00i was starting to feel i may perhaps be the only g...i was starting to feel i may perhaps be the only gentleman that cared about this, at the very least at present i learn i'm not weird :) i'll be sure to look at some additional threads right after i get a tad of caffeine in me, it is actually arduous to read with out my coffee, I was up late last night playing zynga poker and after downing a few beers i wound up giving up all my facebook poker chips cheers :)zynga poker chipshttp://www.mixx.com/tags/facebook-poker-chipsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536455483197919928.post-4082789443870783672010-04-07T14:07:34.000-07:002010-04-07T14:07:34.000-07:00hey nice little web site you have there :) I utili...hey nice little web site you have there :) I utilize the identical design template on my own yet for what ever reasons it seems to reload swifter on this site eventhough the one you have includes far more material.
